One reaps what one plants! For more than a decade, our 300 Gideon’s Army-like missionaries have prayed and worked for AN INCREASINGLY REDEEMED AFRICA! Church leaders embraced this vision of increased harvest. In partnership with their dynamic churches, we have pursued evangelism, church planting and pastoral training. And God has “given the increase!”

Through providing helpful resources, entering working partnerships, and offering practical training about God and His Son Jesus Christ, whether that training is formal or non-formal, residential or distance, traditional or non-traditional.

Asia Pacific Media Ministries was established in 1985. Our task is to empower the national churches of our region to use and produce media for evangelization and to disciple believers. They bring the gospel message to life through audio and video.

From Japan to Jakarta, Mongolia to Myanmar, Thailand to Tonga, the gospel is providing the Bread of Life to the spiritually hungry. Within the past decade the number of churches in Asia Pacific doubled from 7,900 to 16,000. Is it possible the church could double again in this decade?

APTS offers accredited programs leading to graduate and post-graduate degrees including MA, MDiv and MTh and DMin. Extension programs leading to the MA degree are offered in several countries in Asia Pacific. APCALM offers short-term leadership and missionary training programs.

ALO provides needed resources and assistance to children's homes, feeding programs, schools and health clinics in the Asia Pacific and Northern Asia Regions.

Hazarding their lives for the sake of the gospel.” Believers did it in the first century (Acts 15:26), and they are doing it now in Eurasia. War, suicide bombings and terrorist activities are daily occurrences in many nations, but missionaries will tell you that God has a bigger plan.

During the past year we were reminded again that our work in Europe is not accomplished through programs and physical means only, but ultimately through spiritual means.

LAAST offers a ministerial study program resulting in the equivalent of a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Licenciatura) in the Spanish language for national leaders, pastors, missionaries, Bible school directors and professors. Classes are taught on location.

RDM provides Christian materials in Spanish and English for children, youth, men, women and pastors. The materials are in audio, visual and written forms.

The mission of Latin America ChildCare is to transform the lives of children in need with the Good News of Jesus Christ through education and other ministries of compassion. Sponsors help LACC provide for 80,000 children in 300 schools in 20 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.

SEC coordinates Assemblies of God ministerial training for the 20 Spanish speaking countries of South and Centeral America, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. SEC supervises the Latin America Theological Seminary and the Latin Maerica Advanced School of Theology.

It is the mission of the Latin America/Caribbean Library Services to facilitate the development of effective Bible school libraries throughtout the continent for the purpose of training of pastors and church leaders.

STAR ministries provides audio and some print media in Spanish and English for children, adolescents and adults. Programs can be dubbed into other languages.

Powerful growth trends continue in Latin America and the Caribbean. Mexico City was the site of a significant evangelistic impact last summer with a four-night crusade by evangelist Steve Skipper. Twenty thousand attended the final rally. The services were also televised, a historic first.

There is no part of the continent of Asia that has not been touched. Jesus builds His church — it is growing from the planting of His cross in the soil of Northern Asia.
