AGTS Lecture: Intellectual but Not Thoughtful, Righteous but Not Just
Dr. Debbie Gill joined the faculty at AGTS in the Fall of 2006. On February 21, 2007, she was formally installed as professor of New Testament Exegesis. In her inaugural lecture, she invites the church to examine how it deals with internal faith differences. On February 19, 2007, the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary hosted a seminar featuring Dr. Ed Stetzer. Stetzer has planted churches in three states and trained pastors and church planters on five continents. He holds two masters degrees and two doctorates and has written six books, including Planting New Churches in a Postmodern Age, Strategic Outreach (with Eric Ramsey), Comeback Churches (with Mike Dodson) and Breaking the Missional Code (with David Putman). He serves as missiologist and research team director at the North American Mission Board and co-pastor of Lake Ridge Church, a church plant in Cumming, Ga.

Collins entitled “Emerging Issues in Christian Counseling.” Dr. Collins is a licensed clinical psychologist with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Purdue University. He is author of more than 170 articles and about 45 books, including Christian Counseling: A Comprehensive Guide, The Biblical Basis of Christian Counseling and Family Shock: Keeping Families Strong in the Midst of Earthshaking Change. He was general editor of the thirty-volume Resources for Christian Counseling series, the Word Christian Counseling Library of cassette tapes and the twelve-volume Contemporary Christian Counseling series. His most recent book is Christian Coaching: Helping Others Turn Potential Into Reality. The twenty-fifth year anniversary edition of Christian Counseling, published in 2006, is available in the AGTS bookstore.
